Here the walk get more interesting as the towns are left behind and one gets
more of the Wolds feel about the walk with its picturesque countryside and
intersecting valleys. We were heading for the “Wolds inn” at Huggate which
offers free camping as long as you use the pub facilities!
However, it seems the pub is famous in the region for the size of the portions
served and the rumours were not without foundation so you have been warned!!

towards our
goal . . .
on decent
paths . . .
until we
reach the Wolds Inn . . .
where we
share a pitch with a family of ducks!!
