the morning. Cloud lifting in the afternoon but covering fell tops
all day |

Eleven walkers set off for this outing
to Pen-y-Ghent. Unfortunately, as we climbed, we were enveloped in
low cloud and this stayed with us until we descended to Foxup Moor.
The cloud did lift in the afternoon, although it still covered the
fell tops. We did however get a glimpse of sun as we crossed Horton
Moor, and the weather stayed fine until the end of the walk. |
