| Comments: | Overnight rain had ceased just prior to the start of the walk. This is probably the reason for a low attendance of fifteen. Five people took them selves off on a three-mile walk whilst the remainder ventured further afield. Due to wet conditions and many stiles (sixteen) the walk was shortened to just under five miles. This pleasant, slightly undulating, walk offered many fine views of Lancashire. The food and service at the Hoghton Arms was very good. |
