Walk: Stannerstones, Scale Beck, Drybeck, Haybanks, Oak Beck Bridge, Rutter Force, Howe Slacks, Long Moor, Millmoor, St. Helen’s Well including a stretch of the Dales High Way.
Start Point: Great Asby, Church in centre of village Grid Reference: NY 679 131 
Distance: 7 miles Ascent: 600 feet
Time: 3.75 hours
Weather: Mainly dry, Cloudy. Breezy

18 walkers including friends from the other Fylde Sunday groups and from Clitheroe Ramblers.There was not a lot of water going over Rutter Force, but more than last year!
After our reccie we reported a defective gate and fence at NY673 139 to the National Park Rangers at Orton. We were delighted to see that it has been fully repaired.
After our walk we all enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea in the Great Asby parish church. Many thanks to Carol from the Church and to our Jeanette for arranging and publicising.

Our visit coincided with a tractor fest. This was a fine old Fordson.
