| Comments: | The walk was mainly level and use was made of a canal tow path, tracks and quite lanes. Joining the Lancaster Canal on the A6 at Brock the group headed south along the canal to the first bridge. From there the route was via a track that passed through the grounds of Myerscough Agricultural College. At the college the men admired an old Morris car, probably pre-war. Continuing the walk the group followed a quite lane to re-join the canal, following it in a northerly direction to reach the start point at the Flower Bowl. A pleasant walk. |
