| Comments: | Four walkers set off in the hope that the weather would take a turn for the better. In the event it took a turn for the worse and we decided on reaching Dollywagon Pike that it would be sensible to save the ridge for another day. |

which has cleared by the time we reach Ruthwaite Lodge where we stop for lunch
