Walk:	A flexible-length urban linear walk from Rossall to Blackpool Central Pier, returning by tram to Cleveleys for refreshments and concluding the walk on foot to the cars.

Weather:	Cool start after a wet night, developing into a perfect spring day
Comments:	Sixteen sturdy souls stepped out in support of Wendy, seasoned walker but first-time leader of this group. With an urban landscape, promenade sculpture trail, big seascape and plenty of opportunities for comfort breaks, this walk brought in a mixture of walkers who enjoyed a day at the seaside and no muddy boots! Some of the walkers finished at five miles, others continuing to Blackpool Central and making a round trip, partly on the tram. A real Blackpool Day Out. Many commented that this route had been overlooked in favour of rural routes, and was very pleasant on this quiet, clear and sunny day, giving rise to the suggestion of a similar route for one of the Sunday groups in the future.
