| Comments: | Thirty plus people took part in this waterside walk. Joining the Lancaster Canal near to the A6 they walked North along it to bridge No 70 (Davis Bridge) where they stopped for a snack. From there the group used field paths to join the A6 and headed south to Gubberford Lane and on to Green Lane East before joining the River Wyre. Passing a flood defence system the leader led the way into the centre of Garstang before re-joining the Lancaster Canal to reach the Bellflower. A pleasant meal was had by those who chose to stay for lunch |
