| Comments: | At first glance the area appears industrial, close to the M65, the walk was largely rural offering fine views over east Lancashire skirting through several farms along fields, farm tracks and green lanes. There were also 2 minor lengths of road walking as well as the towpath of the Leeds/Liverpool canal. The final part of the walk was through splendid woodlands on well set out paths. |
