| Comments: | This walk was planned to take in St Sunday Crag, Fairfield, Hart Crag and the Priests Cave. Due to strong cold winds and rain, which would have made the route from Fairfield to Hart Crag very unpleasant, the walk was abandoned after St Sunday Crag and an alternative route back was found. Our return took us from the col below Cofa Pike down to Grisedale Tarn for Grisedale valley and Patterdale. With the change of route the conditions gradually improved although the showers did continue but without the winds. |
