| Weather: | Bright sunshine with high temperatures forecast. However, at 750 feet above sea level there was a cool breeze. Torrential rain of the previous evening left the path a little boggy in places. | ||
| Comments: | The route was circular, undulating and straddled the M65 Motorway. Fifteen ramblers took part and enjoyed the vista en-route. Many of the fields in the area that at one time provided pasture for cattle; now act as paddocks for horses instead. A pleasant walk and good food at the inn. |
