| Comments: | A pleasant walk in the Ribble Valley which commenced at the old Roman Fort of Bremetennacvm (better known as Ribchester). The route was by the way of field paths, tracks and a quiet lane. Recent frost had dried up many fields but there was the odd “Claggy” bit. Fifteen people took part in the walk that offered pleasant views of the Ribble Valley. It was too cold to visit the Roman Baths in the village. |
