| Comments: | On a cold but bright day 29 walkers set off from Skippool along the river as far as the Yacht Club where we turned away from the river using a footpath recently tidied up by our Thursday evening volunteers. Thank you! The sun was now out. After passing Thornton Hall farm we used narrow roads to reach the picnic site at Stanah where it was possible to get a hot drink before walking back along the riverside path in glorious sunshine with lovely views |
