| Comments: | We were blessed with bright sunny weather today which allowed us to see the very best of Anglezarke Moor. We followed a route up to Spitlers Edge via Lower and Higher Hempshaws. It was interesting to see all the work now being done on the Spitlers Edge path with the flagged section now in the process of being extended to follow almost the full length of the Edge. We had our first stop on Great Hill from where there were excellent views in all directions. From here we dropped down to White Coppice and then on to Healey Nab where we stopped for lunch. There were five on the walk. |
