| Comments: | Eleven people took part in this circular walk from The White Crow. The weather was not very kind but it was a good walk. At one time the area was used for extracting coal, sand and clay. Much landscaping took place in the not too distant past and little can be seen of those previous industries today. When the Worthington Lakes were constructed it was necessary to build a tunnel to allow the River Douglas to flow under them. | ||
