| Comments: | Nearly forty people, including four children, took part in the walk. Startong at The brown Hare the route was through open spaces in Penwortham before joining an old rail track to reach Avenham Park in Preston. The return journey was via the Ribble Way, Old Penwortham Bridge, Valley Road and Hurst Grange Park. The four children appeared to enjoy themselves and their Grandad informed the group of local history and legends. | ||
