Walk:	Kinder Low, Konder Downfall

Weather:	Wet to very wet until lunchtime, improving for rest of day
Comments:	Despite met office warnings of Hurricane Bertha, 5 ramblers made the trek to Derbyshire to visit Kinder Scout. The planned route was shortened given the conditions at commencement and the forecast for later in the day. Following an easterly path to the south of Kinder Scout we ascended to Kinder Low on the route of the Pennine way stopping briefly for cup of tea and taking respite from the rain. We continued along this route passing Kinder Downfall and then on the William Clough after a brief unplanned detour across Laygatehead Moor (Wild walking)…….. Finally passing Kinder Reservoir on route to our awaiting cars and dry clothing……
