Overcast for most of walk.
Increasingly heavy rain from top of Gasgale Gill to Rannerdale.
Windy, but nowhere near as windy as when this was last walked by us
two years ago! |

The path up Gasgale Gill has further
deteriorated and in the lower part of the Gill it has been
'extinguished' and diverted. (We discovered this having scrambled up
the former path!). No bluebells in Rannerdale; the plants were
barely half an inch high.
