The young lady leading the walk escorted
another twenty one people over this area of limestone on a dry but
cool day. Starting out on ancient tracks that passed through Areas
of Special Scientific Interest the group headed gently upwards to
cross Uberash Plain before dropping down into Hutton Roof (Hamlet).
Returning from Hutton Roof the route passed through Hutton Roof Park
before using mainly field paths to skirt around Dalton Park to reach
the start point. Another enjoyable walk and what's more there was no
mud clinging to ones boots. |
