Abbey Village. A circular walk round the
Roddlesworth Reservoirs, walking along the N.E. side of the
reservoirs, along the Witton Weavers' Way, as far as Tockholes
Plantation No.3 then returning along the the S.W. side of the
reservoirs. |

The walk was mainly on tracks and ideal
for the weather. The reservoir overflow was completely dry compared
to October when we last walked round the reservoirs. Then the water
was in full flow. The reservoirs were still partly frozen and there
was still evidence of snow even in this sheltered area.
We were only a small group as it was Easter Sunday but we had an
enjoyable walk. |
