Walk: Scales Force, Floutern Tarn, Great Borne, Starling Dodd, Red Pike, High Stile, High Crag, Buttermere
Start Point: Buttermere Grid Reference: NY 176 170
Distance: 13 miles Ascent: 4,000 feet
Time: 7.5 hours    
Weather: An overcast day with heavy rain early on. Mist covered the fell tops off and on for most of the day eventually clearing in the late afternoon. Strong winds on exposed ridges.
Comments: Six walkers joined the leader for this walk in the Buttermere fells. Unfortunately, we were a little unlucky with the weather but we still had an enjoyable day and some of us managed to 'bag' some new Wainwrights.
