The route was hastily amended due to the
intended pub venue having closing down. However, twenty seven people
took part on this pleasant walk using farm tracks, field paths and
lanes. There was an odd muddy/slurry patch along the way with a
couple of temporary live electric fences across the route. On the
first part of the walk views of Longridge Fell could be seen whilst
on the second part Parlick and other fells were on view. Although
there was much gathering of grass for silage the trees were showing
a hint of autumn colours. A good walk with fine food at The Dog &
Partridge. |
