Walk: Weasel Farm, Earnsdale Res., Darwen (Jubilee) Tower, Sunnyhurst, through the woods, Winter Hill (not the Winter Hill), return to pub.
Start Point: The Rock Inn Tockholes Grid Reference: SD 663 234
Distance: 5.6 miles Ascent: 840 ft feet
Time: 3 hours    
Weather: Fine and warm with some threatening cloud.
Comments: A good walk, mainly on tracks. Much of the walk along part of the Witton Weavers’ Way. A long steady ascent to Darwen Tower (372m). Good views all round, though not as clear as on the day of the recce.
Pleasant stroll through Sunnyhurst Woods.
