12 walkers set off on the Lancashire
Coastal Path towards Cockersand Abbey. It was very windy, the tide
was in & the sail boarders out. Some people found it exhilarating!
We had a break at Cockersand Abbey where we read the information
board & sheltered from the wind. After continuing along the coast to
Bank House we turned inland & lost the worst of the wind as we
continued over fields to Clarkson's farm before turning right to
Kendal Hill farm. Then the sun came out & we walked along a farm
lane to Old Glasson & back to our start point. |
