Walk: Catbells, Maiden Moor, Nitting Haws, Grange and Derwentwater
Start Point: Hawse End Grid Reference: NY 252 213
Distance: 8.6 miles Ascent: 2,700 feet
Time: 6.5 hours    
Weather: Light sleet shower, overcast
Comments: Clouds dropped soon after we set off and fells to the west had a covering of snow above 2,000 feet. Path descending to Nitting Haws was further towards High Spy than we had anticipated.
