Walk: Hartsop, The Knott, Kidsty Pike, High Raise, Rampsgill Head, Rest Dodd, Satura Crag, Angletarn Pikes, Brock Crags, Hartsop
Start Point: Cow Bridge car park, near Patterdale Grid Reference: NY 403 133
Distance: 12 miles Ascent: 3,870 feet
Time: 7.25 hours    
Weather: Sunny and hot with a welcome breeze at times
Comments: After walking through Hartsop we began a gradual climb to Hayeswater Reservoir where we enjoyed a short break before beginning the steeper climb to The Knott. This was the perfect spot for elevenses and to enjoy the views in brilliant sunshine. A short descent took us on our way to Kidsty Pike where we met a couple doing the Coast to Coast - time to reminisce. A short detour took us up to High Raise before heading to Rampsgill Head. Descending in various directions we made our way on to Rest Dodd before finding a grassy spot for lunch. It was then on to Satura Crag and past Angle Tarn to Angletarn Pikes. Returning on the opposite side of Angle Tarn, Brock Crags was to be our last Wainwright of the day. From there we had a long gradual descent back to the cars.
