Walk: Abbey Village towards Withnell, Gortons, nr. Withnell House Farm, Snape Heights, Pike Lowe, Brinscall School, Brinscall Hall, along the Goit to Brinscall village then along the disused railway to Withnell and above the railway back to AbbeyVillage

Time: 3 hours    
Weather: Very warm and sunny
Comments: A lovely day for a walk. There were a few stiles in the early part of the walk. Some field walking but mostly good tracks, firm underfoot. Good views over towards the coast and round to Pendle Hill from Pike Lowe and then across to Darwen Tower on the return from Brinscall. Pleasant woodland walking along The Goit.
