Walk: Withnell Fold, Ollerton Fold, Ollerton Bridge No. 2, Marsh Lane, Brindle, Slack Farm, Top o’ th’ Lane, Breworth Fold Farm
Start Point: Golden Lion, Higher Wheelton Grid Reference: SD 608 223
Distance: 5.4 miles Ascent: 600 feet
Time: 2.75 hours    
Weather: Fine, cloudy with sunny intervals, but “muggy”.
Comments: 27 Walkers set out in some trepidation, expecting showers. We were lucky, and it only rained after leaving the pub. Conditions under foot were not as muddy as expected, although since the reccie, meadow grass, nettles and thistles had grown to great height. A good day for wildlife with sightings of kestrels, deer, squirrels and rabbits.
