A band of rain forecast for Cumbria went
astray and lingered over the Chipping area thus obscuring scenic
views of Longridge Fell and Parlick Fell. Undaunted, Peter and his
twenty six followers tramped through wet hay fields, climbed
slippery stiles, and paddled through a little bit of mud just to
work up an appetite for the lovely food at The Dog and Partridge.
