Walk: Steel Knotts, High Raise, Kidsty Pike, Rest Dodd, The Nab, Beda Fell
Start Point: St Peter's Church, Martindale Grid Ref: NY 436 191
Distance: 14.2 miles Ascent: 4,000 feet
Time: 7.25 hours    
Weather: An unsettled day with frequent heavy showers and the odd sunny interval. Mist on the fells in the morning, clearing in the afternoon.
Comments: Six walkers joined the leader for this strenuous walk. The recent heavy rain made the conditions heavy going, particularly on The Nab. The views from the higher fells were marred by the mist but did improve as we descended. However, despite the wet feet everyone agreed they had enjoyed the walk.

Yes, this was the same day! The cloud had lifted as we crossed the Christy Bridge
providing clear views up Howe Grain to High Raise and the Nab
