| Comments: | A group of 31 set off over the Darwen Moor to the Jubilee Tower, which looked strange without its top on, having been blown off in the winter gales. A replacement is due sometime? From there it was down to the café/ info centre at Roddlesworth, before descending through the woods and circling round to the A675 Bolton Road. Another circle took us round the back of a quarry and saw mill on the outskirts of Abbey Village, and back into the Tockholes Plantations (woods) back to Slipper Lowe. | ||
