| Comments: | Walking the length of Borrowdale valley
to A685 for Roundthwaite. After leaving Roundthwaite we ascended to
Jeffrey's mount for a ridge walk to Breast High Road and the cars.
The planned walk was abandoned due to lack of access which would have resulted in too much road walking on the A6. With good conditions plus good views along the ridge, the 4 + leader had a good day. |

Our route leads down the valley and back along the ridge on the left

Our climb to Jeffrey's Hill looks down onto Tebay and the M6 (again)

but we don't seem to be able to find any as we stop for lunch . . .
